Chapter 70: An Unexpected Kiss Mu Siyin put on some makeup and waited in her room for Shi Beiyu to arrive.

“I’m at your gate now.”

Mu Siyin nodded her head excitedly. “Okay! On my way down.”

Li Tongzhi and Mu Xingyu were both watching the financial news in the living room when Mu Siyin made her way downstairs. She glanced at the television and noticed that they were broadcasting about Gu Corporation’s limit down.

The duo frowned upon realizing that Mu Siyin was dressed up more delicately than usual.

“Are you going out for a date again, Mu Siyin?” Li Tongzhi glared at Mu Siyin.

Mu Siyin snorted lightly. “None of your business.”

She did not cast them a second glance as she headed towards the door.

Their blood boiled seeing how arrogant Mu Siyin was.

With hatred plastered across her face, Li Tongzhi gave it a thought before she chased after Mu Siyin.

Mu Xingyu thought for a second before she rose from the sofa too.

By the time the both of them got out, Mu Siyin had already gotten into the car. Although the car had left, they managed to catch a glimpse of its luxurious silhouette.

“Did you see that, Xingyu? It’s that car!”

Mu Xingyu had definitely seen it. She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists in anger. “Turns out I’m right about that shameless vixen!”

Mu Siyin sat in the car and looked at the rearview mirror. As their figures became smaller and smaller, she could not help but let out a slight sneer.

Seeing this, Shi Beiyu simply asked, “Did they give you a hard time again?”

Mu Siyin snapped back to her senses and shook her head. She replied confidently, “They don’t have the guts to do anything to me now.”

“You should still be careful. A cornered dog will always jump over the wall.”

Mu Siyin then turned to look at his perfectly symmetrical face and said, “I got it. Don’t worry. I have the upper hand now.”

“Okay.”

After that, Shi Beiyu immediately took Mu Yiyin back to his private villa. Uncle Zhong’s face was unreadable when he saw Mu Siyin’s return.

“Little girl, you’re back again?”

Mu Siyin always had a good impression of Uncle Zhong. He was, at least, always kind to her when she lived there for two years in her past life. She liked him even though he spoke weirdly sometimes.

“Yeah. You look very young dressed like this, Uncle Zhong.”

Uncle Zhong’s eyes lit up the moment he heard this. He pushed his chest out and straightened the hem of his sleeves as he said vainly, “Really?”

“Yup! Really!”

“I think so too. You’ve got a great eye, little girl.”

“Of course!”

This scene left Shi Beiyu speechless.

In an attempt to stop Mu Siyin from engaging in an endless conversation with Uncle Zhong, Shi Beiyu placed his hand on her shoulders and led her away.

Mu Siyin looked at him in a weird way. She sighed. “Hey! I’m not done yet.”

Shi Beiyu responded in his raspy voice, “Talk to me instead.”

Mu Siyin looked at him in confusion.

When they had made their way to the study, Shi Beiyu pressed her against the study table.

Mu Siyin blushed and coughed softly. “Hey! What’re you doing?”

Shi Beiyu leaned in closer to her. His beautiful amber-colored eyes were piercing into the depths of her soul. “Spend the night with me.”

Mu Siyin battered her eyelids as she tugged his necktie, saying, “Is it necessary?”

The light in Shi Beiyu’s eyes faded. “You promised me yesterday.”

Seeing how big his reaction was, she immediately said, “Okay, okay. Please don’t be mad. I’ll stay over tonight.”

She pouted upon saying so.

How childish of him to change his mood in an instance!

Shi Beiyu looked at her deeply. Just as she raised her head to look at him, he immediately lowered his head to give her a kiss.

Mu Siyin instantly widened her eyes at the man in front of her. Did he really just kiss her out of nowhere?
